Because they are both undead, even if they did have sex, Morrigan cannot bear any children. Their bodies do function normally except for that aspect because that is a price they both paid when they were given their tasks/positions in the underworld. As a result, they salvage some souls of lost children and treat them as their own. Ankou was also a doll maker when he was alive.
